![](/<p>The <a href="https://bearswire.usatoday.com">Chicago Bears</a> will be looking for their third consecutive win on Monday night, taking on the <a href="https://sportsdata.usatoday.com/football/nfl/teams/washington-commanders/363" target="_blank">Washington Commanders</a> in a revenge game for last season. </p><p>After starting their season 0-2 with losses to NFC North rivals in the <a href="https://sportsdata.usatoday.com/football/nfl/teams/minnesota-vikings/347" target="_blank">Minnesota Vikings</a> and <a href="https://sportsdata.usatoday.com/football/nfl/teams/detroit-lions/334" target="_blank">Detroit Lions</a>, but have bounced back since, winning games against the Dallas Cowboys and <a href="https://sportsdata.usatoday.com/football/nfl/teams/las-vegas-raiders/341" target="_blank">Las Vegas Raiders</a>.</p><p>Chicago's win over Las Vegas felt different than the few wins in recent history, as for once, they were on the right side of a close, last minute game, securing the win with a blocked field goal. Josh Blackwell's heroics in Las Vegas sent the <a href="https://sportsdata.usatoday.com/football/nfl/teams/chicago-bears/326" target="_blank">Bears</a> into their bye week with a 2-2 record, and now they have a chance to keep their momentum rolling and build off of their recent success.</p><p>"It's something that we've talked about a lot. Just the belief in each other," said head coach Ben Johnson. "The belief that when the game's close in the fourth quarter we will find a way to come out on top. This league is full of one score games. It's the way it's designed; there's a lot of parody. It's five weeks in and we have no undefeated teams. Any given Sunday; that's a true mantra."</p><p>With Johnson leading the charge, the change in the locker room and the overall culture for this team is clear, the Bears are a team that believes in one another. No matter how ugly the win was against the Raiders, Johnson credited the team for not giving up on themselves and the players who rose to the occasion when needed. </p><p>"I think it is just the belief that if it's close here in the fourth quarter, we have a number of really good playmakers on this team that we can find a way," Jonson said. "That's one. And then the other one is there's a million ways you can win games in this league. Even watching some of the games on Sunday, , there's a lot of bad football still being played early in the season here. We needed special teams to come out on top last week. We needed defense to come through with all those turnovers or else we don't come out on top last. We needed offense despite how rocky it was in the first half to find a little bit of a groove there in the second half and score 16 points on four possessions. Each week's different, but you're never out of it, not in this league.
