Anderson throws for 304 yards, Kellman's rushing score lifts Wyoming over San Jose State 35-28
Terron Kellman's 28-yard scoring rush with 40 seconds remaining completed Wyoming's fourth-quarter comeback and the Cowboys defeated San Jose State 35-28 on Saturday night. Brayden Johnson returned an interception 65 yards for a touchdown to begin the rally for the Cowboys (3-3, 1-1 Mountain West Conference), and a 45-yard touchdown catch by Charlie Coenen on a throw from Kaden Anderson tied the game at 28-28.

Brewers oust Cubs and will face Dodgers in MLB playoffs
William Contreras, Andrew Vaughn and Brice Turang blasted solo home runs to give Milwaukee a 3-1 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Saturday in a winner-take-all Major League Baseball playoff showdown.Turang smacked a two-out solo homer in the seventh to give the Brewers a 3-1 advantage.

Rangers coach Sullivan expresses gratitude in return to Pittsburgh
New York Rangers coach Mike Sullivan knew the Pittsburgh Penguins were going to play a tribute video. There has been one for each returning player that won a championship during Sullivan's time with the Penguins. “It means a lot,” Sullivan said after New York’s 6-1 win at Pittsburgh on Saturday.

Lamar rallies past East Texas A&M 33–23 for fifth straight win
Aiden McCown threw for 285 yards and a touchdown in the final seconds, and Lamar stormed back from a 13-point deficit to beat East Texas A&M 33–23 on Saturday night in Southland Conference play. Kyndon Fuselier caught a go-ahead touchdown with three seconds remaining to complete the comeback. Lamar (5–1, 2–0 Southland) trailed 16–3 in the third quarter before Ben Woodard kicked the second of his two field goals, and Peyton Lamar Christian returned a fumble from Ron Peace 12 yards for a Lamar touchdown.

Islanders rookie Matthew Schaefer gets 1st NHL goal in loss to Capitals
Matthew Schaefer won’t soon forget his first NHL goal. The 18-year-old defenseman and top overall pick in this year's NHL Draft dove headfirst into the moment, literally. Schaefer found a loose puck after a scramble in front of the net and lunged forward, poking it past Washington Capitals goalie Logan Thompson at 4:28 of the third period in the Islanders’ 4-2 loss Saturday night.

Williams, Gronowski and Moulton help Iowa run over Wisconsin 37-0 to keep Heartland Trophy
Xavier Williams rushed for two touchdowns and Mark Gronowski ran for another to help Iowa clobber Wisconsin 37-0 on Saturday night. Kamari Moulton added 96 yards rushing on 15 carries and a touchdown for the Hawkeyes (4-2, 2-1 Big Ten), who retained possession of the Heartland Trophy and have won four straight against Wisconsin (2-4, 0-3).
