Dundee 'very close' to new signings after Digby sidelined
Dundee head coach Steven Pressley is hopeful that he will be able to add to his injury-hit squad before the transfer window shuts. Midfielder Paul Digby is the most recent player to be sidelined, after he was ruled out for six weeks. Before their Scottish Premiership match with Kilmarnock this weekend, the head coach said new additions are likely to happen following their trip to Ayrshire.

Will Wolves 'miss the train' with signings this time?
Wolves' first game of the season does not seem to have shifted the dial much on expectations. It does say something about the stratified nature of the modern Premier League that a club - established in the division for several seasons - can lose 4-0 at home on the opening day and there be no sudden sense of shock afterwards. It was fair enough for Vitor Pereira to talk up his team, but - as has been the case for a while - the part of his comments that attracted most attention was about the strength of the squad.
