Falkirk have signed Ben Parkinson from Newcastle United for an undisclosed fee after being "gazumped" when trying to agree a deal for the striker in the summer. The forward has put pen to paper on a two-and-a-half-year deal at the Falkirk Stadium. The 20-year-old made his top-flight debut for Newcastle in 2023 but since then has featured predominantly for the Under-21s and scored eight goals in 11 games in Premier League 2 last term.
