Livingston shipped striker Tete Yengi out to Japan in January and, while his parent club slipped to relegation from the Scottish Premiership, the 25-year-old has won himself a call-up to Australia's pre-World Cup training squad. Yengi joined the West Lothian club in January 2024 from Ipswich Town and his 10 goals in 43 appearances helped win promotion last season. Yengi's six goals in 22 appearances have led to a first call-up to the Socceroos' squad and he now will hope to be among head coach Tony Popovic's final picks for this summer's finals.
