Memorial service for Detroit MLB pitcher Ken Howell is Saturday

Ken Howell, a Detroit native who went on to a seven-year MLB career as a pitcher with the Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies in the 1980s, died Friday at the age of 57 in West Bloomfield. There will be a memorial service for Howell on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Ellis Funeral Home in Detroit
