Watch Travelers Championship 2017: Live stream online, start time, TV channel

The 2017 Travelers Championship has a better field than the weekend at the U.S. Open. Rory McIlroy, Jason Day and Jordan Spieth are playing, and all should light up the leaderboard in Hartford, Connecticut. I'm far more excited about this event than normal given how bad the normal post-major fields are. After Jim Furyk's crazy 58 in the final round last year at the Travelers, I'm prepared for anything this time around. Here's a look... Read more

25-06-2017

The Travelers Championship took place in Cromwell, Conn., which as you might expect, is squarely in New England Patriots country. And they still haven't forgiven Roger Goodell. Last week, a golf fan came up with the "Say hello to your mother for me" golf shout at the U.S. Open. The weird golf shouts returned for the Travelers Championship, and Goodell was the target for Boo Weekley's swing on the 13th on Sunday. After Weekley took... Read more

Thomas misses cut, proceeds to own Twitter troll

Perhaps Justin Thomas got a lesson from his buddy Rickie Fowler on how to deal with social media trolls. That lesson being, put them in their place. After missing the cut at the Travelers Championship, a week after making U.S. Open history and contending for his first major title, Thomas took to Twitter to explain his poor play and mentioned that the time off should be good for him. That didn't sit well with Twitter... Read more

First title in nine years for Romero

25-06-2017

PA Sport Andres Romero held off the challenge of Masters champion Sergio Garcia and England's Richard Bland to win his first title in nine years at the BMW International Open. The Argentinian was playing on a sponsor's invite in Munich and had slipped to 837th in the world since his last victory at the 2008 Zurich Classic of New Orleans. He showed no signs of that alarming drop in form on Sunday, however, carding a... Read more

It’s been awhile, but the name Andres Romero is back in golf’s spotlight. Romero started the final round of the BMW International Open three shots back and parred his first seven holes Sunday. But then he produced a stunning kick that led to glory. The Argentine birdied seven of his final 11 holes, storming from 10 under to 17 under and a one-shot victory at Golfclub Munchen Eichenried. Rory McIlroy, using 3rd putter in 3 days, posts final-round 64 at Travelers

When Rory McIlroy opened the Travelers Championship in 3-under 67, it seemed like he was finally going to contend again. Two days later, he appeared totally lost. So it’s only fitting in this week that’s been all over the place for McIlroy that he ended it with fireworks. The Northern Irishman fired a final-round 6-under 64 at TPC River Highlands, birdieing seven of his first 15 holes and hitting his first 17 greens in regulation.... Read more

Travelers Championship fan tumbles out of his chair trying to dodge incoming golf ball

This is fan commitment to not influence a golf tournament in absolutely any way. A bystander at the Travelers Championship thought he’d found a safe spot behind a bunker and on a rope line in the middle of a hole, but a bad kick off a mound forced him to think quick. He could have just let the ball gently roll into his foot. Or used his chair, bag, or some other nearby prop to... Read more
